The goal of the Collegiate Recovery Center is to create a peer space on campus where students can seek recovery support and resources. The center will also help students get connected with resources outside of UNM so that they have a community when they graduate.

Year two of the 2nd Annual Healers GALA was another success! 3 full scholarships were awarded to our peers. Special thanks to the National Latino Behavioral Health Association and Fredrick Sandoval for hosting this year’s gala!

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the new Serenity Mesa Adolescent Detox Center in Northwest Albuquerque. The facility will provide transitional housing for people 14-21 years old struggling with drug addiction.
